Do clean and vivid was again recorded live, this time with the luxury of Graeme Roland’s 4 track reel to reel at The Barn, Penrhosgarnedd. The name came from the bizzare description and instructions of a Chinese device for hanging up socks called a “Mini Hander”. That was apparently “do clean and vivid”. A couple of tracks from the first album were re-recorded with the advanced new technology!
The album reflected the band’s live shows, with pithy pop songs interspersed with more open-ended pieces such as Shut Your Eyes and Kill the World.
